These comics have the objective of retranscribing the vision of inclusion by the refugees in the partner countries of the project, with the characteristics of each country concerning the statutory refugees and the asylum seekers.

 

The refugees told their experiences and observations, with many anecdotes to feed and inspire the comic book stories. The French-Cameroonian scriptwriter Christophe Edimo then defined an editorial balance for the whole.

 

Each story follows a timeline, from the journey to arrival, from the first months to a « stable » situation (status, housing, work, language).

 

The interviews were conducted by the partners with 2 or 3 statutory refugees or asylum seekers, in each country, with the same questions. Attention was paid to the representativeness of these people: men, women, families, singles, different geographical origins and ages.
